You might imagine focused on smog, I'd miss the oxygen floating through the fine particulates. And you'd be right except I enjoy oxygen, too. So part of my fresh air assignment this week is recounting what went right. What I'm grateful for. This week's mini and not-so mini milestones:

I don't feel like writing today, so instead...
The clouds I took flying about thirty miles from LAX last August.
You can rest your problems on them, and feel lighter.
The dog whose name I can't recall belonged to Doug, an eco-tour guide in B.C. just outside of Quesnel.
That dog captured my heart and could probably capture anyone's. I wish I had a dog like him or a toy poodle like Smiley, the poodle I fell in love with at the dog shelter where I volunteered for years. Someone else got Smiley to take home. I was just the stand-in.
