As a travel writer, I've seen first-hand climate change devastation. I saw California wildfires' smoke (resulting from our long drought) drift into Banff, Canada when I wrote a clean air review.
What's that haze?
Meanwhile Canadian locals talked about receding, melting glaciers. This photo I took along the Icefield Parkway between Jasper and Banff in Alberta, Canada.
So we're all connected and our collective actions make a difference. Give someone a ride. Take public transportation. Lobby for clean energy and better public transportation in your town. Turn out the lights. Turn off the computer.
Lead in your community!
"Human interference with the climate system is occurring and climate change poses risks for human and natural systems," starts the United Nations comprehensive report.
Until next time, breathe easy and make life an adventure!
