The recycled instruments are unbelievable! Saxophones made from roofing gutters, violins made tin cans and cellos from oil drums, all crafted to perfection. Where needs meet creative inspiration in a Paraguayan slum we find “The Recycled Orchestra”, where a group of children play instruments made entirely of recycled garbage. This beautiful story is about the transformative power of music, and highlights vital issues of our times: poverty and waste pollution.
Landfill Harmonic is a film about The Recycled Orchestra. They have a Kickstarter Campaign going and nearly reached their goal, and have 9 days left… I think you will find the ultimate goals of the project (not just a movie) very, very interesting and could help out greatly.
