Will you join me?
Mark your calendars for Monday April 29th, 10:30 a.m. PST when I interview Lalo Franco, the head of Historical Preservation of one of America's largest Native American tribes (located in San Joaquin Valley).
We'll learn about their "environmental" traditions, and what's been happening since the Europeans arrived to their homeland.
Many people write me, seeking the "perfect" location to breathe. It's challenging and many times individual-- pollens, altitude, wet, dry, etc. I was just thinking had the Native Americans had their ways 300+ years ago, we'd all be breathing easier.

My musings:
Indian seems like a strange word to describe the aboriginal people of America just because Christopher Columbus thought he'd reached India. And then there are a lot of misconceptions about this land and its people. Tune-in to my Tachi-Yokut radio program to learn more, for ignorance is not bliss and knowledge is power. (Radio show also to be archived for future listening)
