Conveniently situated across from a secluded beach on the Bay, the Harbor Hotel, Provincetown is a newly renovated fabulous art deco hotel that's fun and offers the best of all worlds.
Quiet and beachy, and away from it all, Harbor Hotel is an easy shuttle, bike, or feet don't fail me now walk to the Cape Cod National Seashore, and vibrant downtown Provincetown or P-Town as it's called known for creativity, tolerance for all lifestyles, including a thriving gay community, and American history.
In 1620, Pilgrims signed the Mayflower Pact here, signaling respect for individual freedoms had arrived. Indeed these freedoms are celebrated in Provincetown amongst beauty and clean air!
What I liked best as a single woman at the Harbor Hotel, was the openess.
Open fire-pit, open lounge, open library, open dining and open bar and pool cabana, contributing to a sense of community and ease of making open new friends.
In my worldly opinion, the designer of Harbor Hotel deserves a reward for best design.
My beach-view room was comfortable. And see that chair, it's facing the secluded beach, colors mimicking outside.
Food in Whaler Lounge excellent.
Here are some Harbor Hotel friends I made.
Yearly visitors Arnie and Jim and their poodle A.J., friendly staffers Fernando and Christopher...
And many more moments shared with colorful visitors sitting around the firepit each night.
