You might imagine focused on smog, I'd miss the oxygen floating through the fine particulates. And you'd be right except I enjoy oxygen, too. So part of my fresh air assignment this week is recounting what went right. What I'm grateful for. This week's mini and not-so mini milestones:
I lost the weight I said I would. I hit the 100,000 visitors mark to this site, an arbitrary number I once wondered if I'd ever hit, (not that that's a lot in blog terms.) And as an ordinary person, who rarely wins or is a runner-up in contests (though I did "win" an honorable mention for a funny play I wrote called Mother's Day out of I was told 350 submissions), my photo of Christy (a woman I met on the Rocky Mountaineer Train headed for Quesnel in British Columbia) was chosen for group three on The Pioneer Woman's happiness photo contest.
These three things--weight loss, hitting 100,000, and having my happy photo chosen for group three made me happy. :-)
What made you happy this week?
