Rancho Palos Verdes Fire

Rancho Palos Verdes has a big fire blazing fast! Huge plumes of dark smoke spiraling into the air threatening many homes. About 30 miles south of Los Angeles. Wealthy homes, a nature preserve, and golf course. Just saw two structures go up in flames on KCAL9. In minutes. If I lived there I'd gather things and be ready to evacuate. 

Wilting Flower

I'm a delicate flower, wilting in Los Angeles air pollution. Angeles Forest Fires. Two fires burning. Click here to see thick smoke. Lungs hurt, throat scratchy, voice gravely, general malaise. Temps triple digits, humidity one. According to SCAQMD air quality map for 5 p.m. West Los Angeles is unhealthy for sensitive groups. That would be me.

Angeles National Forest Fire Creates Hazardous Air

Okay, it's not the best photo of a burnt West Los Angeles sky but I was in the car.

The Angeles National Forest fire currently blazes with only 10% containment.

Los Angeles is having a heat wave. It's almost 10 p.m. and close to 80 degrees.

I was in the car on the way to dance, hoping against hope that the smoke wouldn't bother me? Of course, me. My lungs' reaction to Los Angeles air started my search. I'm not in town long though and wanted to see friends but my lungs didn't get with the dance program rather they constricted, my chest felt heavy, eyes burned, and I turned home.
