There are bike rental places to explore the Rogue Valley, and trail running and hiking is popular.
Whitewater rafting and touring local wineries, farms, and artisan food makers top the list of popular things to do.
It's 80 miles to Crater Lake National Park. I believe the lowest lake in the nation and known for its sapphire blue color.
