Today was a splendid sunny day for a Chevy Malibu Hybrid drive 
to Malibu!
I haven't much time to share
, so for now I'll say I enjoyed the sturdiness and quiet drive of the ECOTEC 2.4L four-cylinder 169-horsepower engine powering along Pacific Coast Highway, and this is what I saw. 
When I passed an Arco station where unleaded gas was $4.50 a gallon, I thought a lot more hybrids and bikes will soon be on the road. 
The car comes with OnStar, which I didn't try but you press a button and can get directions, find a gas station, and use hands-free calling by telling the system to, "Dial!"
Opposite the gas gauge is the battery gauge, which tells me when the battery function is engaged.
Feels good driving a hybrid. :-)
