Bainbridge Island near Seattle was one of my favorite Washington destinations.
Bainbridge boasts beauty, blue waters, and open-minded people, who live in a creative atmosphere, where breathing clean air goes down easy. Their trees are evergreen, and behavior, as green as I've ever seen.
I had a take-out salad in a recycled container with recycled plastic forks and knife, and recycled napkin.
This apartment complex, I was told, is new and expensive. When I inquired, I learned a two-
bedroom rented for $1200, which in Los Angeles terms, well, let's just say I don't know anyone who pays that for a one bedroom. And if they do, it's an older building.
A beautiful Marina in walking distance of everything downtown. A farmer's market with little in way of fruits and vegetables compared to Los Angeles but ample charm.
This local family grows vegetables on the side of normal business.
Lots of quaint shops here, and a very creative spirit.
