According to Organizing for America, Senate Committee on Environment and Public Works (EPW) will start making final decisions about what to include in its energy and climate legislation, the Clean Energy Jobs and American Power Act.
But oil companies and special interests are pushing hard to weaken the EPW bill. Some Republicans who oppose energy legislation are even threatening to boycott the proceedings to block all progress on the bill.
It's essential that we demonstrate that voters across the country strongly support bold action to build America's new energy future.
