You've got mail! All good and well but no one emailed that they'd join me on the soul-gripping drive from Oregon to California, specifically over the mountain ranges.
I need help. SOS in a blog post.
Beauty comes with a price of pollens and windy roads around here. Sometimes on high cliffs, overlooking... No. I won't look! I'm drrivvvinggg.
So I'm back from breakfast at Residence Inn by Marriott in Eugene, which I highly recommend if you're staying in Eugene, especially for an extended period, and I hoped HOPED I wouldn't have to drive the next leg of my journey alone.
I'll break up the trip in small pieces, and head to Ashland now, tackling that bear of a mountain tomorrow morning. I don't even want to name that monster, I mean bear. It's beautiful from a distance but I don't fancy climbing all over it in my car with trucks dancing to winds around me.
If you read my previous post about scary Oregon roads or what around here are called Mountain passes, you'll know I really want a friend to drive with, even a stranger, hitch-hiker? Next stop Ashland, if you know anyone who wants a lift to California. I'm serious. Email me.
