Jasper is about wildlife, nature, clean air, mountains, glaciers, lakes and wildflowers.
It's also about keeping lotion handy for the dry air's effect on skin.
Here's what I saw on the drive to Medicine and Maligne 
Lakes.

I took Aleve along for my Maligne Lake boat tour to Spirit Island, a highlight when visiting Jasper.
I learned in Santa Fe, New Mexico that I'm prone to altitude sickness, and headaches and fatigue can occur. 
This time when my head started to feel pressure, I popped an Aleve and enjoyed the boat ride. 
People with asthma or lung disease are prone to altitude sickness and therefore need to drink extra water, refrain from coffee and alcohol, and take along aspirin or Aleve if a head-ache starts in high-altitude.
I'm glad being better prepared for thin air this time made all the difference.
The results, as you see were spectacular.
