Yesterday I headed toward the beach, and the air really felt better. Fresh breeze.
Breeze! 
L.A. is going through a heat spell and pollution gets cooked as it sits in the basin. Many residents speak of sinus infections, allergies, and head-aches, the stuff I routinely blame on smog. 
If you're one of us, and you can, swing by the beach, I recommend it.
Feels better than staying even a few miles inland.
