It's not cool to pollute.
Polluters, investors, and those who can't drink clean water pay a steep price for oversight, folly, and turning away while working with suppliers that pollute.
Your company must be vigilant about your toxic load, and that of your supply chain.
Case in point. I've been watching my Suntech solar stock plummet. Why? A combined fear of rising polysilicon prices, and the fact certain Chinese solar silicon suppliers are accused of dumping toxic silicon into the environment. Suntech is taking measures to mitigate damages from their accused supplier, raising money to buy elsewhere.
Best to check out what degree your suppliers are polluting now and put a stop to polluting practices or work with a different company.
